How the Pathway Works
Courses and programs are currently available in Sydney and surrounding regions of NSW. CPD certificates are provided.
STEP 1
Practical Courses
Small-group, hands-on courses across a range of surgery topics
Our courses focus on the knowledge and skills you will use in practice. Places are limited, so you work closely with experienced faculty and receive feedback on your own technique. Every course includes a practical framework for recognising complex cases that are best referred, reducing risk to your patients and your practice.
STEP 2
Exodontia Live Surgery Experience
From models to real patients, under direct one-on-one supervision
The Live Surgery Experience is an opportunity to apply the course skills on real patients, performing surgery under direct supervision and managing the full patient journey, from case assessment and consent to follow-up, under your mentor’s indirect supervision.

Program Details
STEP 3
Oral Surgery Mentorship (3 months)
Personalised mentorship, built around your caseload, in your own practice
Wisdom tooth surgery and surgical extractions can be challenging in general practice. Skill and confidence take time, repetition and guidance. This program is designed to help you develop both safely, without compromising patient care along the way.

For three months, an experienced member of our faculty will visit your clinic once a month to provide direct, one-on-one supervision during your surgical exodontia cases. During clinic visits, your mentor observes, assists and can help with part of the procedure if needed.
